|November 20, 2014||PAS is very pleased to have Barbara Eberhard present a demonstration of Gum Bichromate printing. Barbara has chosen to work in an alternative process of photography that dates back to the 1880's, the pictorialist era of photography. Gum Bichromate prints could be called "photographically controlled watercolors." Even though the image may resemble a color photograph, it is a fabrication of layers of pigment and hardened gum. It is in some ways closer to painting than photography. Barbara finds it a very meditative, hands-on process, manipulating and "creating" an image rather than simply recording it. Be sure to join PAS for a very interesting presentation.|

Bring in a thumb drive with one or two raw files and Steve and Chris will demonstrate their general workflow using your files. Steve will demonstrate ways to achieve your vision with a few possible enhancements and answer your questions from your wish list using Photoshop. Chris will show an alternative method achieving the same goal using Lightroom. If possible, send your images as a large .jpg and questions on any specific problem or your vision of what you would like to see in advance. This will expedite the the process. Of course, you can bring your raw images to the meeting, too. Send your questions and images to: firstname.lastname@example.org for Photoshop, email@example.com for Lightroom.|
